The 22D model features an easy-to-use track tensioning system. Simply remove the small cover plate to expose the tension-adjustment nut. Simply loosen the nut to allow the grease to escape. Simply add grease to tighten the tracks.

The 22D model features a rear engine compartment that can be easily accessed. By opening the engine access door, you can reach the dipstick, filters, radiator, belts and other important components. This serviceability makes preventative maintenance easier and servicing faster.

The 22D model features basic operator controls, that does not take long to master. The hydraulic system is optimized to ensure a balanced sensitivity is achieved on the joystick controls, allowing the operator an optimal control over the excavator.
