Now available in African markets, MCM expects the backhoe loader to appeal to many businesses throughout southern Africa. Although the 37X model Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) is an entry-level machine for general earthworks, the newly launched 37X model offers all the basic technology needed to get the job done. This model Compact TLB was designed and built specifically for our African market. Our SA team removed all the expensive technological installations to bring an affordable machine that is still equipped with enough technology to power through the toughest tasks at hand.
PERFORMANCE
The 37X TLB is designed for all-day operation. Its robust frame and components ensure it can withstand the rigors of demanding job sites. A strong hydraulic system delivers up to 85.5L/min for optimum performance. The 37X is equipped with a hydraulically controlled quick hitch on the front frame. A hydraulic quick hitch is optional on the rear dipper arm. This fitted equipment enables the operator to exchange between attachments very easily and fast by simply using a mechanical lever in the operator station. MCM offers a range of attachments and implements for the 37X such as pallet forks, bale forks, grapples, buckets, tree shears, and we also manufacture custom attachments for clients based on their requirements.
A big advantage of the 37X compared to other TLB models available in the industry, is its central articulation build. This allows the operator to maneuver with greater efficiency as the overall turning radius is much smaller.
The 37X is equipped with an air over hydraulic braking system which is efficient and provides reliability on the job. A happy operator is a productive operator, the TLB has an adjustable mechanical on air-suspension seat, adjustable steering column, and 360 degree operator visibility to name a few points.
It’s 37kW/50hp engine meets EU Stage Three emission standards although EU Stage Five and EPA four engine options are available through our international distributors. The 37X Backhoe Loader is equipped with a standard 4WD, two-speed Shuttle-shift Transmission, its standard front bucket lift capacity measures at 0.8 cubic meters while its standard backhoe digging bucket measures at 0.2 cubic meters. The rated lifting capacity of the front bucket is 1,600kg and the maximum dumping height is 2.7 meters. Looking at the rear backhoe digger, we find it offers a well-performing digging depth of up to 3.4 meters and a 180 degree rotation ability.
MAINTENANCE
We’ve worked to great lengths to bring our clients in southern Africa a machine that can be serviced easily and quickly, a machine that can be repaired with minimum effort by a regular qualified diesel mechanic. Ease of maintenance is the key word in the development process of the 37X. Also, by making daily checks easier to perform, they are more likely to get done, reducing inspection time and preventing a major failure. The 37X has a tiltable cabin build that lifts hydraulically to exposed the entire engine and hydraulic system, providing ample space for the operator to do daily checks and for scheduled maintenance.
A heavy duty transmission oil filter is geared towards increased reliability. A high quality cooling system has been selected to enable ease of work in the warmest of climates in southern Africa.
